50-DAY LOVE WELL CHALLENGE

Learning to love well when it’s not easy has one of the best returns on investment you’ll find in your lifetime.

What is the 50-Day Love Well Challenge?

It’s simple. You commit to loving your partner well

with no excuses for at least 50 days.

This doesn’t mean to love them well for the next 50 days; it’s 50 days of successfully loving them well. Think of it as the difference between shooting 50 free throws at the end of practice vs. shooting until you make 50 free throws. This guarantees you will give your partner at least 50 days of positive evidence before you reevaluate your relationship.

Who will it help?

The challenge was originally designed for anyone thinking about throwing in the towel, but it’s great for anyone who wants to take their relationship to the next level.

What will it do for you?

It gives your relationship and love the chance it deserves.

It’s possible your partner simply needs to see more positive evidence from you to feel more secure in your relationship. The only way you’ll find that answer is to love them well over an extended period of time … even when it’s not easy.

It helps you make a more informed decision about the future of your relationship.

This means you’ll have much more confidence in whatever decision you make. For what could be one of the biggest decisions in your life, you want to have as much reliable information available to you as possible. After 50 days of successfully loving your partner well with no excuses, you will know yourself better … and you will understand your partner more deeply. You’ll be in a much better position to evaluate your relationship and decide how to proceed.

It will give you the peace of mind that comes from knowing you did your best to make your relationship work.

There will be no looking back in the future and second-guessing your own effort.

If your current relationship does end, it will help prepare you for your next relationship.

* When you’ve proven to yourself that you can love well (even when it doesn’t feel easy), you’ll be more confident when starting your next relationship

* It will be easier to recognize if a potential partner loves well or not.

* You’ll make yourself more attractive to the type of person you want to attract … someone who also wants to love well.

How To Start Your 50-Day Challenge

Start Your Day with the Right Mindset

Identify yourself as someone who wants to love well in all situations.

Remind yourself that your partner deserves to be loved well.

Give yourself a clean slate. Don’t let what happened yesterday prevent you from loving well and reaching your goal today.

Remember that loving well begins with a choice that’s as powerful as you want it to be. You can do this (even when it’s not easy)!

And don’t forget that loving well is a reflection of strength.

Keep Your Focus on What You Can Control

Your goal is to love your partner well today with zero excuses. That means you can’t let something they said or did distract you from the goal.

To reach your goal each day, keep your focus on how well you are loving them. This focus combined with your daily goal will give you a powerful sense of purpose that can help carry you through challenging moments.

Remind yourself that loving well can be learned. Keep striving to acquire new tools and improve each day.

Review Your Game Film Each Night

Each night when your head hits the pillow, evaluate how well you did. If you loved your partner well in all situations, allow yourself to enjoy the success of having reached your daily goal (regardless of the state of your relationship).

If any moments didn’t go as well you would have liked, think about what YOU could have done differently to love them better. Don’t let yourself give “nothing” as an answer. No matter who you think is at fault, always look for a way you can try to improve the next time you’re in a similar situation.

Repeat until you have successfully loved your partner well for at least 50 days. Then reevaluate your relationship. Did your partner also move closer to you? If not, try to figure out why.
